1922
Charles M. Moore founded Moore Insurance Agency in Russellville, KY.
1933
Charles H. Moore, son of Charles M. Moore, moved to Bowling Green, KY and founded Charles M. Moore Insurance.
1936
Charles M. Moore Insurance acquired the Herdman & Stout Insurance Agency, which opened its doors in 1896.
1958
Charles M. Moore, Jr., son of Charles H. Moore, joined the agency.
1978
Charles M. Moore Insurance took over the management of Planter’s Insurance Company.
1983
Hollie Moore Sowell, daughter of Charles M. Moore, Jr., joined the agency.
1988
Tommy Adams, grandson of Charles H. Moore, joined the agency.
1991
Charles M. Moore Insurance created Affordable Insurance of Kentucky in response to the compulsory automobile insurance laws. They have locations in Bowling Green and Glasgow, KY.
1992
Felton Adams, grandson of Charles H. Moore, joined the agency.
1993
Charles Adams, grandson of Charles H. Moore, joined the agency.
2003
Charles M. Moore Insurance acquired the Cook-Grogan Insurance Agency in Franklin, KY.
2016
Charles M. Moore Insurance merged with Wooten Insurance Agency (Jordan Clarke). This merger brings a long family tradition back together. Jordan Clarke, Tommy Adams, Charles Adams, Felton Adams and Hollie Moore Sowell are cousins and are 4th generation legacies to their great grandfather, Charles M. Moore.

Will Adams, great grandson of Charles H. Moore and a 5th generation legacy, joined the agency.

Jackson Adams, great grandson of Charles H. Moore and a 5th generation legacy, joined the agency.
